The Innovative School of Temple Beth Sholom is a Jewish community dedicated to joyful learning and Tikkun Olam, the Jewish value of making the world a better place. Our holistic approach to admissions considers each family’s mission-alignment with our school philosophy, embodiment of our KEHILLA values, and commitment to our Temple Beth Sholom community. Elementary school applicants are additionally assessed on their academic profile, character and citizenship.

Children who are attending programs at the Innovative School of Temple Beth Sholom are required to have completed the age-appropriate vaccine schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Admissions for New Families
8 Weeks - 18 Months
Our Infant class is limited to a combined total of 16. We have six teachers, and our caregiver-to-child ratio is 1:3.2.

Below is the recommended timeline for applicant families
Sibling Policy
.Sibling Policy: If you are planning to enroll a sibling who will be new to the Innovative School for 2027-2028, you must submit an application for the new sibling by the December 18 deadline. While your child will receive priority consideration, you will receive an admissions decision in February.
Re-Enrollment for Current Families
As you know, we have transitioned to a continuous enrollment system. This means that your child’s enrollment will automatically renew for the 2027-2028 school year on January 14, unless we are notified that your family has made other plans for next year.
If your plans have changed and your child(ren) will not be continuing at the Innovative School next year, you must email Kimberly Hyde, School Registrar at admissions@innovativeschool.org by January 14. You will then receive a confirmation email releasing you from your contractual agreement for the 2027-2028 school year.
