The Innovative School of Temple Beth Sholom is a Reggio inspired Jewish community dedicated to joyful learning

From the moment you step through the school doors, you’re greeted by warmth and kindness. What truly sets Innovative School apart is the sense of community you feel when you are there. Parents are not just welcome-they’re embraced as part of the extended temple and school family. The teachers show our children a type of love and respect that is truly extraordinary! They are dedicated to each child’s growth and well-being. They have fostered a love of learning in both of my children. My 4 year old son comes home and tells me about topics in outer space that I’ve never heard of before and my 2 year old is exploring her surroundings through creative play, songs, art, books, and socializing with her friends and teachers! It is an amazing school and community!

Our 3 daughters have all attended the Innovative School where they were nurtured and cared for from when they were under 2 through pre-k, and our youngest has actually also attended 1st and 2nd grade there (and will be returning for 3rd). We have found it to be a place where our children are truly 'seen' for who they are, and their curiosities are stoked. We value the small class environment, and the individual attention the children are given to grow and explore who they are, particularly in the Elementary Level.

We continue to be very happy watching our grandchildren grow and thrive at Beth Shalom preschool. The teachers and administration, along with every single member of the support staff, display unmatched excellence and dedication to the children. Everyone is highly educated in the field of child development and are focused on teaching the “whole” child. They are focused on helping a child truly learn, beyond teaching just the academics. Creativity is fostered, critical thinking is encouraged, kindness and love of learning are nurtured. The joy of learning is present. It is truly wonderful to see.
