My name is Ashley Weissman, and I’m excited to be joining the school this year part-time, assisting in the Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms.

A little about me—I’m a Michigan native and have called Miami home for the past 20 years. I was a Foundation School teacher for 10 years before taking time away from teaching to raise my three children, Emma (13), Joey (10), and Luke (6½).

The Temple and Foundation School hold a very special place in my heart. Not only did I spend many wonderful years teaching here, but all three of my children attended the Foundation School as well. It truly feels special to be back in a place that has meant so much to our family over the years.

I’m really enjoying being back in the classroom, getting to know your children, and being part of their school day. I’m looking forward to a fun, happy, and amazing year together!
