Welcome to the Innovative School!
We are so excited that you will be joining us for the 2024-2025 school year at the Innovative School of Temple Beth Sholom! We feel privileged to share these important years in your family’s life with you and look forward to delivering the highest quality educational experiences for your entire family.
We invite you to partner with us during this amazing journey and ask you to mark your calendars for the events below. Additionally, you will find our required paperwork below.

Important Dates
You can find our preliminary school calendar for next year here. Please know this calendar is subject to change and we will provide you with the most up to date version as soon as we can.
Foundation Level Dates
Class rosters will be emailed to you the week prior to school starting. Teachers will reach out to families as well that week, to introduce themselves and welcome you to their classes.
Starting at 6:30pm, we are hosting an adults only opportunity for new families to learn about the Innovative School’s daily culture.
This is an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, see and feel the environment, and meet your new classroom community.
Foundation Level:
Open drop-in anytime from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.
Foundation Level
Our first day of school will begin with our normal hours of 8:45 – 3:00. We invite you to spend as much time as you need in your child’s classroom.
All Parents
We invite you to stop by our Welcome Center in the morning to visit with the Administration and members of our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). We will also have representatives from our After School programs, lunch, and Temple Beth Sholom.
This event is for adults only and will include a full school session on our school’s philosophy and approach, as well as remarks from the PTO and Temple leaders. Following this you will have time in your child’s classroom to learn about our innovative curriculum and to experience our dynamic learning environments.
Elementary Level Dates

This is an opportunity for new families to learn about the Innovative School’s culture, and how to use our Altitude Learning Platform. We’ll meet at 6:30pm. This is an adult only evening program. Please note that all Kindergarten families (both new to the school and returning Preschool families). are expected to attend.
This is an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, see and feel the environment, and meet your new classroom community.

10:00 am – 10:30 am
Elementary Level
Our first day of school will begin at 8:15 – 3:00.
Join us from 9:00-11:00 am for our first school Shabbat of the year and learn about all the programs the Innovative School and Temple Beth Sholom have to offer in the Welcome Center.
Shabbat is at 9:30
This event is for adults only and will include a full school session on our school’s philosophy and approach, as well as remarks from the PTO and Temple leaders. Following this you will have time in your child’s classroom to learn about our innovative curriculum and to experience our dynamic learning environments.
Health Information Update
Prior to July 31st you must update important health information for each of your children in Tads.
Please login to you Tads account:
- Click on Enrollment either on your dashboard or on the left menu.
- Then for each child click on their registration number
- Click on “click here to edit student’s enrollment information”
- Click on the “health” tab
- Scroll down and click “edit health supplemental”
- Answer the two new health questions
- Click “submit”
Child Files and Parent Packet
Due to DCF and NAEYC requirements the below need to be filled out, signed, and uploaded to the Innovative School by July 31, 2024.
