It has been a busy election season for our Innovat

It has been a busy election season for our Innovative Elementary learners!

In our weekly community meetings, our learners have been undergoing a deep study on voting. During our meetings we discussed what it means to vote, the importance of voting, and different things we could vote on to improve our school!

Throughout the weeks, representatives from each grade level advocated for the school improvement idea of their choosing and we held a primary election to narrow down our ideas! Yesterday, elementary learners participated in a mock election and voted for a lunch meal they’d like to be added to our menu (with a write-in option), a school improvement idea, and who they would vote for President.

We are so proud of our learners for being empathetic citizens and changemakers in our school kehilla🗳️
