Elementary Level Pre-Summer Update 

Dear Elementary Level Families,  

We are so excited that you will be joining us for the 2025-2026 school year at the Innovative School of Temple Beth Sholom!  

We feel privileged to share these important years in your family’s life with you and look forward to delivering the highest quality educational experiences to your entire family. 

Please visit our Welcome Page to find our preliminary calendar and other information for the upcoming year. Additionally, we ask that you mark your calendars for the following events: 

June 30: After School Signup Opens 

After School enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year will open on June 30.  If you are interested in enrolling your child, we encourage you to check your email to secure their spot. 

August 14, 6:30 PM: New Family Orientation 

This is an opportunity for new families to learn about the Innovative School’s logistics and culture, and how to use our Learning Platform. This is an adults only evening program.  

Please note that all Kindergarten families (both new to Innovative School and joining from our PreK) are expected to attend this event. 

August 15: Class Rosters Email 

Your class roster and teachers will be emailed to you. 

August 18: Teacher Introductions via Phone Call 

Teachers will reach out to you to introduce themselves and welcome you to your new classroom community! 

August 19, 10:00 – 10:30 AM: Classroom Visits  

This is an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, see and feel their new environment, and engage with your new classroom community. 

August 20: First Day of Elementary Level  

We invite you to drop your child off in their classroom for the first day of Elementary at our regular hours of 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM. 

September 5, 9:00 AM: First Elementary Level Shabbat 

Please join us for our first family Shabbat at 9:00 AM. Family Shabbat will take place on the first Friday of each month at this time.  

September 30, 6:30 PM: Back to School Night 

Join us (adults only) to hear from our Administrative Leadership and PTO about our vision for the upcoming year. Following this, you will have time in your child’s classroom to learn about our dynamic curriculum and the daily life of your child in our learning environment. We strongly encourage all parents to attend this important evening event.
