Shabbat

Families are invited to join us for our beautiful Kabbalat Shabbat service on the first Friday of each month. The Foundation Level service is at 9:30, and our Elementary Level service is at 9:00. Our Toddler and Twos classes participate in Family Shabbat during the second part of the school year when they are most comfortable in their environment and able to separate more easily from their family.  

To help maintain the sanctity of the service and ensure a meaningful experience for everyone, we ask that all visitors: 

• Silence all mobile phones and other electronic devices before entering the sanctuary.  During Shabbat celebrations and special school events, our campus acts as a sanctuary from digital noise; we ask that phones be used exclusively for capturing quick photos, allowing us all to remain truly present with one another.  
• Dress in neat, respectful attire. We ask that all shirts and shorts are of appropriate length. No bare midriffs are permitted.  
• Refrain from talking during prayers and readings, except when necessary to assist your child. Please encourage your child to participate respectfully throughout the service and do not allow them to the bimah.
• Your child’s teachers will let you know their preference for how to meet your child before the service and how to say goodbye after.
